I love the genre, i dabble in production and creation of rock but have never fully immersed myself. I lvoe the drums and mixing of harmonies and that is where a lot of my melodic inspiration comes from. I always had respect for bands because you had a whole bunch of dudes or dudes/gals or just gals having to coordinate and make music with each other and be available for shows and practice and so on. i like the idea that you have a bunch of people that you can chase your dreams with.
I'm currently mixing a new track that's more rock-themed than my usual stuff. I found some really cool guitars and decided to give them a shot, so the song has a more acoustic feel to it, like a garage band. Imagine a drum kit and some amps in a well-insulated basement space or club. It has that really intimate feel. I'm trying to recreate the emotional melodic aspect of my favorite pound days. It's sounding really good so far, and I'm excited to share it with you all soon!
Learning Mixing Techniques
I've also been learning a lot about mixing techniques lately. I'm really passionate about getting my music to sound the best it can, so I'm always looking for ways to improve my skills. I've been taking online courses, watching tutorials, and reading articles. It's been a lot of work, but it's definitely worth it. I'm starting to hear a real difference in my mixes, and I'm really excited about the direction my music is going in.
Attending a Wedding
Recently, I went to a wedding. It was a lot of fun, and it was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen in a long time. It also reminded me of how much I love music and how much joy it can bring to people's lives. It was so heartwarming to see everyone dancing and having a good time.
Live Streaming Plans
I'm still planning to start live streaming soon. I'm really excited about this, and I think it's going to be a great way to connect with my fans and share my music with new people. I'm still working out the details, but I'll be sure to keep you updated.
Overall, I'm really happy with the progress I'm making as an independent musician. I'm learning new things every day, and I'm constantly pushing myself to improve. I'm also really grateful for the support of my fans. It means the world to me.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!
